Food ordering app design for closed residential & office complexes
Unlike typical delivery platforms, this product wasn't built for scale or discovery. It was designed for a fixed environment: users who order frequently, at predictable times, and from the same place.
That constraint shaped the entire experience. Instead of optimizing for exploration, the focus was on reducing friction and making repeat orders feel effortless.
Time-aware ordering
A banner on the home screen shifts with the time of day. In the morning it surfaces breakfast, at midday lunch, in the afternoon a snack, at night dinner.
One tap is all it takes to see what's available right now, no browsing, no searching.
Plan ahead
A weekly menu lets users plan multiple meals in advance, reducing the need to open the app repeatedly.
The goal was to make ordering feel predictable and effortless in a context where habits matter more than choice.
